What is (Flash) Fiction?

- A story created by yourself

- inspired by a certain moment. 

- may be fictional, could be real-life inspired.

- written in 150 words. Not more.

Important tips for writing flash fiction

• Use strong imagery.
  
• Stick to one moment.
• Try first person point of view.
• Only use one or two characters.
• Surprise your reader.

Assignment

• Write a flash fiction story.
• Maximum of 150 words.
• Write about anything, but make it interesting.

Your assignment

- Think of a moment that kept you thinking (Aha moment)

- Use that inspiration to think about a possible story

- Start writing a draft.

- No inspiration? Make a mindmap...

Talk to each other about what story you plan on writing.

• Of course you may start writing when you are done talking.
