What is File Explorer?
File Explorer is a file management application in Windows. It allows users to browse, view, and manage files and folders on their computer.
Opening File Explorer
You can open File Explorer by clicking the folder icon on the taskbar or using the shortcut Windows + E.
Navigating Folders
Use the left pane to navigate through folders. Click a folder to view its contents in the main pane.
Renaming Files and Folders
Right-click the file or folder, select 'Rename', type the new name, and press Enter.
Creating New Folders
To create a new folder, right-click in the main pane, select 'New', then 'Folder'. Name your folder.
Copying and Moving Files
Select the file, right-click, and choose 'Copy' or 'Cut'. Navigate to the new location, right-click, and select 'Paste'.
Deleting Files Safely
Select the file, press Delete, or right-click and choose 'Delete'. Files go to the Recycle Bin.
