The homework was:
Make groups of 3-4 students.
Make sure you get permission to work together from me.
Come up with a good group name (no bad names allowed). It needs to rhyme or have alliteration. And make sure you add the names of all the members in the next column.

Make a document to brainstorm in and share it with me, name it: How to Project TH1ES 2021 - group name
Also make a logbook: so who did what and when!

Can show 4 things
  1. Obligation - you need to do it
  2. Permission - you are allowed to do it
  3. Prohibition - you are not allowed to do it
  4. Advice or recommendation - you should do it, but not necessarily.

To make your tips clear you should use transition words and phrases. 

We will go through some of them on the next slide.

Meet up with your group digitally and add to your brainstorm document.

Make sure you can find it easily

Step 2: Read this and write down questions you think of
Your final presentation needs to include:
  1.  3 to 5 tips on how to deal with the lockdown ( so dealing with homeschooling)
  2. 1 to 2 tips on how to deal with being with your family the whole time.
  3. at least 1 topic that you need tips for during this lockdown.
  4. good pictures - images - memes to support what you are saying during the presentationclip.
  5. Finish with an inspirational quote or message that you'd like to share

  • Start discussing you ideas based on last lesson and add them to the document as you speak.  (everyone types with a different colour)
  • If you need help go through the lesson again (you should be able to still go through all the slides.

Can we combine ideas to make it stronger? What are the top 3 tips on how to deal with homeschooling? How are you going to divide those points and the last tips?

  1. I will check what you remembered about the modals and transition words/phrases.
  2. You will have a brainstorm document ready with a logbook in there
  3. You will also gather images, pictures, memes for your presentation (make sure to copy paste the link below the image so you can add it in your resources list later)
  4. The week after that you will work on your presentations planners and then finally record it.
