The present simple

We use the present simple to talk about routines, habits, and facts.

we use the base form of a verb

e.g. I always walk to school

         We listen to our teacher

He / she / it: adds an +s

e.g. Jaime listens to a lot of music

         Our cat cleans herself every day

Careful:

    Go > goes

    Wash > washes

    study > studies

The negative present simple

we add don't / doesn't

e.g. I don't watch every film

         He doesn't shower every day
