It includes both current and planned (future) IT services.

Helps define what technology is used, why it's needed, and who uses it.

It supports efficient IT management and future upgrades.

Why It Matters

Ensures each department has the tech needed to do its job.

Identifies gaps in current IT provision.

Helps plan for upgrades and digital improvements.

Aligns IT with business goals like customer service and security.

Examples

Administration/Finance: payments, bookings, records
