Symbolism and methaphors
Symbolism=Symbolism is the use of symbols to signify ideas and qualities, by giving them symbolic meanings that are different from their literal sense.
Examples:
Dove = a symbol of peace
Red rose= often symbolises love

Love is a jewel: This is symbolic because it suggests that love is rare and precious.

Methaphors
Methaphor= It is a figure of speech. They do not litterally mean that somebody is a rock, but they mean that somebody is a great support!
