Je gebruikt de Past Simple in 3 soorten zinnen:

1. bevestigende zinnen

2. vragende zinnen

3. ontkennende zinnen

Past continuous + Past Simple

Als je ergens mee bezig was in de verleden tijd en iets anders gebeurt er tussendoor.

was of were en het ww + ing voor waar dat waar je mee bezig bent. ACTIE

bv je bent aan het tv kijken/ eten

Als twee dingen tegelijkertijd plaatsvinden en ongeveer even lang duren gebruik je twee keer de past continuous.

Er staat dan meestal while in de zin.
