Bezittelijke voornaamwoorden
Als je wilt uitdrukken dat iets van jou (of van iemand anders) is, kun je bezittelijke voornaamwoorden (possessive pronouns) gebruiken, zoals jouw, mijn, zijn.
1. Mijn hond > My dog.
2. Haar huis > ....... home.
3. Onze kat > ...........

We gebruiken de present continuous als iets nu aan de gang is, of bezig is. In het Nederlands zeg je vaak: 'aan het..'
Vorm = To be (am/is/are) + werkwoord + ing
I am writing > Ik ben aan het schrijven.
She is not writing > Zij is niet aan het schrijven.
What are they doing? > Wat zijn zij aan het doen?
