verb + ing
Walking is good for you.
Smoking is bad for you.

This is when you use a gerund:
* when the verb is the subject of the sentence
* after a preposition
* after these verbs:
- love / start / stop
* after these expressions
- it's no use
- worth

ex.  Dancing is fun.
* after a preposition  
ex. I look forward to seeing you.

- worth
ex. The film is worth seeing.
