Lesson aims:

At the end of this lesson you will:

• make your own recipe!
• understand basic texts about recipes and cooking. (listening to a song)

Without looking it up, try to name two words from last lesson.

Examples:

flour

herbs

tuna

leek

 minced meat

to bake (specific form of cooking, often putting it in the oven)

to cook (general term for preparing food)

Let's take a look at exercise 1

• You get 1.5 minutes to read the text.
• Read the question first.
• Then read the possible answers.
• Then start reading the text (firstly the title, then pictures, then the complete text).

Quick fire! (exercise 2)

• There are three groups (three rows of the classroom)
• I will say which group begins.
• Each group names ONE word from this lesson or previous lesson.
• The next group can't name the same word. 

Pictionary

• You are going to do this in pairs (or 3).
• Each person will get 2 cards with a word on it.
• The person is going to explain the word WITHOUT saying the word.
• The rest of the group is going to draw the word.
• Per round you get 1 minute. 
• Try to say what it tastes like, the colour, in what meal you put it, etc.

• Make at least five sentences.
