If-sentences: first conditional

What happens in these sentences?

If you do the dishes, I will clean the living room.

You will get a good grade if you study hard.

First conditional

Voorwaarde = if + present simple (he/she/it + s)

Gevolg = will + hele ww 

• If you wash the car, I'll be very happy.
• If you don't wash the car, I won't be very happy.

 

Task: form your own sentence with the first conditional! Compare your sentence with your neighbour's.
