How do mountains get smaller?

Types of weathering
Chemical weathering -  is weathering that changes the composition of rock.
Mechanical weathering - when rocks crumble and disintegrate without any changes to their chemical composition
Frost weathering - When water freezes it expands, making the cracks wider and causing chunks of rock to break off
