1. Adverbs of frequency
Always, Never, Often, Usually, Sometimes

-Before the verb: We always eat sandwiches for lunch.
- After a form of to be: The teacher is sometimes late.
-At the start of a sentence when it has a form of to be:
Sometimes, the teacher is late.

2. Adverbs of degree
Words like: Very, Almost, Incredibly, Just, Terribly, etc.
- Before the word they refer to!

That is really kind of you.
You are driving terribly fast.

3. Adverbs of manner
Adjectives with -ly: Slowly, Loudly, Carefully, Quickly, Incredibly, etc.
- At the end of a sentence: John walks quickly.
- BEFORE a marker of time: 
He played the flute beautifully yesterday.

- At the end of a sentence:
My bike is in the shed

- Always at the end of a sentence, except for when used to emphasize the time:
They left two days ago.
Yesterday I fixed my bike.

Adverbs of time always come after adverbs of place!
