Example gap text
Yesterday evening, at 8 PM, on my street, I had walked home from school when I saw something strange. Two men had broken into my neighbour's house before I arrived at the corner. They had climbed through the window after checking on the road. I hid behind a bush in the garden and called the police as soon as I could. By the time officers arrived at the scene, the burglars had escaped with valuables. The police thanked me for my quick thinking!
