What will we do during class?

We will start the class with reading for 15 minutes.

We will work on our grammar.

We will make writing assignments.

We will update our language development logs.

Will we get homework?

Yes.

What will the homework be like?

Mostly reading.
However, if you can't finish the assignments during class, I do expect you to finish them in your own time.

Every class, I will hand out copies of at least 3 chapters.

The assignments will surround the theme of this book.

The book is 100 pages in total, and we have a total of 5 weeks to complete it.

What should the language development log look like?

You will be making a professional portfolio. 

The portfolio will begin with a cover page, and then you should add a table of contents to make navigation easier.

You start by adding the result of the starting test from the first lesson; this will be your baseline.

A few quick tips in word.

In the first three chapters, I want you to look for characterization of the lead character.

Find recurring sentences and find symbolic meanings behind the sentences.

Next week

Finish chapters one, two, and three.
