REPORTED QUESTIONS

Slide 15 - Tekstslide

"It is cold here."
She said that it was cold there.

"What are you doing here?"
She asked what I was doing there.

Slide 16 - Tekstslide

Dus:

"Is he your best friend?" (eerst persoonsvorm dan onderwerp - vraagvolgorde.)

She asked if he was my best friend (eerst onderwerp dan persoonsvorm - normale woordvolgorde)

Slide 17 - Tekstslide

The teacher: "Are you paying attention?"
The teacher asked if / whether we were paying attention.

My friend: "Do you like pizza?"
My friend asked if / whether I liked pizza.

My parents: "Did you do well on today's test?"
My parents asked if / whether I had done well on that day's test.

Slide 18 - Tekstslide
