Dus als je iets niet zeker weet..

*De dikgedrukte woorden (hope, think, promise, doesn't know) geven dit aan; 

*gebruik je 'will + het hele werkwoord' 

I hope they will pass their exams. 

she thinks she will beat her brother at this card game.

He promises he will take care of his parents' dog. 

she doesn't know if she will pass her exams. 

Als je wél iets zeker weet!

En iets staat gepland; (dan gebruik je:) 

-I am going to watch a film with friends this weekend.

-you are going to watch the first Dutch match this Sunday.

-he/she/it is going to visit his/her aunt who's in hospital. 

-We are going to dine out this evening. (we already reserved a table for 4). 

-They are going to travel to Spain next summer. 

Finish the story about the future;

Je weet inmiddels...

als je wat zegt over een zelfstandig naamwoord (Dan verander je niks aan het woord tussen haakjes; Dit noem je een bijvoeglijk naamwoord) (wat voor soort man, goal, baby?) 

-The nice person.

- The beautiful goal. 

- The cheerful baby. 

Als je wilt zeggen hoe iets gebeurt.. 

*dan zet je er wel een 'ly' achter! 

- the man nicely asked me how I felt. 

- the door opened automatically.  (let op: -ic wordt -ically)

- The bodybuilder easily lifted the car. (-y wordt -ily) 

Yesterday I 1. _________(accidental) dropped my laptop that I was holding from the second floor onto a table in the auditorium (aula).
My laptop hadn't broken. I was very 2. ____________(happy) that it was still intact.

We're going to watch a video

About a South African city called 'Cape Town' (Kaapstad). It was founded by  Dutch explorers in the 17th Century. Nowadays, it's a beautiful city where you can do lots of fun activities. Which activity would you like to do while being there? Choose on that you like best.
