Read the text on p. 196 and underline the key words.

In pairs. Answer the questions

a. What do you think the video will be about based on this quote?

  We were given so much.

And I don't wanna get too spiritual,

b. If the total Earth’s lifespan were condensed into 24 hours, how long do you think mankind has existed?

Write a short text (about 100 words) explaining what you think about the video.

- Do you like the video and the way Prince Ea delivers his message?

- How did this video make you feel?

- Think how can you group these ideas within your text.

- Write your text on a separate sheet of paper.

- Check what you can improve based on the evaluation-box.

- Write down your final version on this sheet.

Example

I really like this video because he talks about what we have done to the planet. We are 3 seconds in its 24 hour life span. We are a speck of the whole big picture. We are tiny, a mere 3 seconds, but look what we have done in that three seconds. We have ruined the Earth, but nobody seems to care. Apparently caring for the Earth, helping out, picking up trash, it is dumb. Stupid. Embarrassing. You are a nerd if you do so. You are stupid if you do so. You are stupid if you care. But why does it have to be that way anyway? If we change that, we can change the world.
