much / little gebruiken we voor zelfstandig naamwoorden die we niet kunnen tellen. 

Bijv. water, lucht, geld, melk, sneeuw. 

één water, twee water --- kan niet!

Bijv. bananen, boeken, telefoons, etc.

Deze woorden kun je dus in het meervoud zetten.
