What's in the test?
  • Complete the sentences with the words in the list. There are two extra words. > Gap text exercise.
  • Match the words with their definitions. There are 3 extra definitions.
  • Choose the odd one out, underline it AND explain why it’s the odd one out.
  • Form a sentence using the word given, you MUST show that you know what the word means. It is NOT OK to write a sentence along the lines of: "I must write a sentence using the word __”. Your sentence must make the meaning of the word clear!

  • Look at the description and complete the words. The first letter of the word is given. Example: this food is brown and sweet and often eaten as a treat. C _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
  • Match the sentences

  • Choose the correct option from the definitions given. Match the word with its definition.
