When?
- Facts> the train leaves at 8 pm.
- Routine> she usually plays football with her friends.
(usually, always, sometimes, most days, every day, often , on Mondays)
How?
I/you/we/they = hele werkwoord
he/she/it = hele werkwoord +s
Example:
Pos. She eats with her friend in the morning.
Neg. She doesn't eat with her friend in the morning.
Quest. Does she eat with her friend in the morning?.
he/she/it > does ? / doesn't -
I/ you / we / they > do ? / don't -
Present continuous
When?
- things that are happening at the moment.
(currently, right now, now, at the moment, tonight, today,look, listen..)
- when you talk about temporary situations>
I'm staying with my aunt while I'm in San Francisco.
How?
We can make the present continuous by:
werkwoord zijn (to be) + werkwoord-ing
Example:
Pos. They are swimming at the moment.
Neg. They aren't swimming at the moment.
Quest. Are they swimming at the moment?
