- use the imperative.

Grammar

Imperative = gebiedende wijs

Use the imperative to give an order or instructions. 

Orders:  Sit down. Stop talking. Be quiet. Don't do that.

Instructions:  Have a look at the recipe on page 40.

                             Boil some water, then put some coffee in a cup.
