I raise my hand before I speak

When the teacher raises their hand ...

1. I wave back politely.
2. I raise my hand as well, and stop talking.
3. I stop talking.
4. I ignore it, the teacher is being silly.

You're allowed to talk to your neigbor for a little while. When the teacher raises their hand, you:

1. Stop talking.
2. Eyes on the teacher.

3. Raise your own hand to show you're listening.

When am I allowed to get up in class?

1. If I have to throw something in the trash.
2. If I want to refill my water bottle.
3. If I've asked the teacher and they said yes.
4. If there is an emergency.

When speaking in English class, I speak ...

1. Dutch
2. English, as well as I can. I am allowed to make mistakes.
3. Dutch or English.
4. English. I am not allowed to make mistakes.

What should you bring to class every day?

Always bring your textbook...

even if you have a test!!

Always bring your laptop, especially when you have a test! All your English (and Dutch) tests will be digital.

I make my homework...

1. before my next class, at home.
2. during my next class.
3. before my next class, five minutes before the lesson starts.
4. after the homework has already been collected.

If I have digital homework I ...

1. send it to the teacher in an e-mail.
2. try to upload my homework on smartschool after I was supposed to upload it.
3. wait until next class to upload my homework on smartschool.
4. deliver it on time, in the upload folder on smartschool.

What happens when you're late with a homework assignment?

Homework etiquette:

I check smartschool and make my homework before my next class.

If I have digital homework, I deliver it before the time the teacher closes the upload folder.

If I'm late with an assignment, I receive a 0 on that task.

What do you do when you miss a test because you're sick?

If you're sick during a test ...

1. The teacher will give you a temporary 0 for that test.
   
   
2. Contact the teacher.
   
   
3. Plan with the teacher when you will catch up on the test.

If I forget my laptop when I have a test ...

1. I receive a 0 on that test.
2. I can make the test on the teacher's laptop.
3. I can make the test on my smartphone.
4. I can catch up on the test next class.

What happens if I don't put my phone in my bag/have it out during school hours?
