Compound adjectives
  • Compound adjectives are adjectives made of two or three words. They usually have a hyphen ( - ) between them.
  • Many compound adjectives have these patterns:
  • adjective/adverb + present / past participle (e.g. fast-paced)
  • Noun + present / past participle (e.g. sun-kissed)
