On time

The train left on time 

On the dot, meaning the dot on the clock.

Not before, not after, but exactly on time.

If you're on time, that means you're exactly arriving at the time agreed. 

In time

Don't worry, we'll be in time to catch the train.

Sp that means you will arrive at the station a number of minutes before the train is due. 

In good time

We arrived in good time for the coach trip.

It means, you have even more time, lots of time.

Plenty of time.

Just in time

We caught the train just in time.

Just before it left, that's very close to the departure time. The time it was scheduled to leave.

Only just in time

We were only just in time....

This one, 'only just in time' is even less than "just in time". 

Maybe it was 10 seconds before the train left, or five seconds, very close to leaving.

In the meantime

We have an hour before the film, so in the meantime shaal we go for  a coffee? 

'In the meantime' is when you have some time to fill in before something. else happens. 

It's about time

I think it's about time I got a pay rise!

Isn't it about time I got a promotion too?

When you think something is overdue. You've been waiting for something and it hasn't happened.  

To avoid stress, I make sure that I arrived ............. for the interview.  We were ................ for the coach. The project was completed .......... right on scheduele. 

Isn't it .................something was done about that empty building. If we don't arrive at the theatre.......... for the start, they won't let us in. My friend will be here in two hours, so............. I'll do some homework. We thought we'd be late, but we arrived......... to see the start of the film.
