First conditional (als - dan) 

• We gebruiken de first conditional wanneer we vrijwel zeker weten dat iets gaat gebeuren in de toekomst. 

Examples 

If I have enough apples, I will bake an apple pie for you. 

- She will be late if she does not hurry.

Soms gebruiken we when in plaats van if bij de first conditional. Hoe je de first conditional dan maakt verandert NIET.
