Lady- past simple
De verleden tijd in het Engels, past simple, kun je bepalen door de woorden Last, After, Day in the week, Yesterday in de zin te denken of te schrijven.

L – Last year we had a great party.
A – After about ten years I left school to start my own business.
D – WednesDay the weather was horrible! (the D of a Day in the week)
Y – Yesterday I forgot to ring him back.
