What Are Double-Digit Numbers?

Double-digit numbers have two digits, like 23, 45, or 99. They are between 10 and 99.

Steps to Add Double-Digit Numbers

Start by adding the numbers in the ones place (right side).

Step 2: Add Tens Place

Add the numbers in the tens place (left side) and combine the sums.

Step 1: Add Ones Place

Let's Try an Example

What is 34 + 25? Add the ones: 4 + 5 = 9. Add the tens: 3 + 2 = 5. So, 34 + 25 = 59!
