  • Cabinet = Ministers + Prime minister + Secretaries of State.
  • Government = Ministers + King.
  • Council of ministers = all ministers.

There is also something called the Trias Politica or ''seperation of powers''. What does this mean again? How are things devided in the Netherlands? You may use your book for help!

  • Executive power (uitvoerende macht). 
  • Independent judiciary power (rechterlijke macht).

  • Our legislative power is chosen! (local, province, country and european). We choose who ends up in the House of Representatives. The Provincial council chooses who ends up in the Senate.
