Introductie
The name of the game is to call out the correct word in 60 seconds.
Instructies
Perhaps some might be familiar with the activity 'forbidden words'. The students have to explain a concept, person, or subject without using certain words. This approach to the activity works exactly the opposite way: points are awarded for each word that is mentioned.
In this activity, the teacher puts four or five words related to a specific topic on a slide. One student sits with their back to the screen, while another student (or the rest of the class) provides an explanation of the topic. There are two important rules: the explanation cannot contain the words displayed on the screen, and the student has only 60 seconds to give the explanation. Each time the student facing away from the screen correctly identifies a word, it earns them a point.
Important to note: the student providing the explanation is allowed to reveal what the actual topic is.
