Introduction to MYP2 Spanish
All students will be in phase 1 (new to the language). Esto no lo pondría porque hay alumnos que tienen algo de conocimiento. Pondría que en el primer trimestre empezamos en Emergent level (phase 1-2).
You'll start with basic vocabulary and phrases and we will build up from here.
Interactive activities: Games, role-plays, and projects will be part of learning.
Cultural understanding: We will explore Spanish-speaking countries and traditions. In MYP4 we go to Spain!

Assessments in MYP2
In class we will DEVELOP ALL 4 skills, which we group as follows:
CriteriON A: based on listenning skills.
CriteriON B: based on reading skills.
CriteriON C: based on oral skills.
CriteriON D: based on writting skills.
Assessment in MYP2
Assessments will include quizzes, presentations, and projects and of course regular assessments.
Every term you will:
Do formative tasks for each criterion (A, B, C and D).
Receive feedback for your formatives and reflect about this feedback. No lo añadiría por si acaso no lo usamos. on MyFeedcycle Form.
Be assessed (at least) once per criterion (A, B, C and D).
Develop ATL skills that will help your performance in class and in real life. o 2 ATL's during class time.
Progression in MYP3
Most students will move to Fase 2. No lo pondría.
You'll expand vocabulary and tackle complex grammar.
Same structure for formative tasks, summative assessments and ATL skills.
Progression in MYP4
Some students move to Capable (fase 3) while others will stay in Emergent (fase 2). No lo pondría.
Focus on fluency and deeper cultural insights.
TRIP
Progression in MYP5
Some students move to fase 4 capable while others stay in fase 3. No lo pondría. Pondría algo como if you reach the Capable level (phase 3-4) at the end of MYP5 you can study Spanish B in DP1.
Prepare for personal projects and further studies.
