Wanneer gebruik je de past continuous? 

Je gebruikt de past continuous als iemand in het verleden een tijdje iets aan het doen was.

PAST CONTINUOUS

In welke zin wordt de Past Continuous gebruikt?

1. They film the event with a hidden camera.
2. They filmed the event with a hidden camera.
3. They are filming the event with a hidden camera.
4. They were filming the event with a hidden camera.

PAST SIMPLE - verleden tijd

I went to  a concert yesterday. (go-went-gone)

I saw a good film last week. (see-saw-seen)

I visited my grandmother last month. 

I wanted to buy a car.
