Some fine points...

In exercises 6 and 7 there are a few difficulties.

We have a short look at them now, 

to save you some time later!

Point 1: you need this tactic, to find out if there is a quadratic relation (see p.247):

Let's read 7 together first:

Somebody reads the introduction and 7a aloud.

Point 2: about 7a

Question: What does it mean that:

'the company generates 12 500 euros revenue' ? (=7a!)

Answer: The company gets 12 500 euros for the barbecues they sold.

Point 3: about 7d

Question 7d:

'Make a formula with which you can calculate the revenue (opbrengst) R in euros when you know the price p in euros.'

All think about this!! On your own or as a pair.

7d  You get the revenue when you multiply the rice by the number of barbecues sold. So:

R = p x q ,with p=price and q=150 - 0.25p (this was given) 

So we get:   R = p ( 150 - 0.25p)
