Slide 3 - Tekstslide

Stage 1: Investigation
Why are you doing this task?
To find out the need for food donations!

1) Watch the videos in the following slides and consider the people's perspectives...

Attention!
They are in Dutch, so if you don't understand Dutch very well, watch it with a classmate who does and they can help you! Don't forget, you can also learn a lot from visuals and tone of voice.

Stage 2: Planning
Now that we have identified the need (and the ever important why), let's get planning!

We already have our action (food donations), but we need to figure out how to do that effectively, using the Maths skills from the latest unit!
(proportions and ratios)

Step 2: Planning
You will be split into teams so that EVERYONE contributes in a fair way.

Think about your strengths and interests. In which group will you be able to contribute the most?

  1. Logistics team
  2. Health team
  3. Action team
  4. Communications team

Service proposal
Let's do this!

You will need to get it approved by your mentor/Ms Turner ASAP so make this a priority.

You can get started on taking action in the meantime, you don't need to wait for mentor lessons or CORE hour to take action!

Slide 23 - Tekstslide

What do you need to include?

  1. Evidence
  2. Reflection
  3. Supervisor review

Slide 24 - Tekstslide

1. Evidence

Upload evidence under the tab

Managebac (photos, journal
extracts, films, emails etc).

Slide 25 - Tekstslide

2. Reflection
  1. Evaluate
    how you achieved
    each of your Learning Outcome(s)
    in the journal on Managebac
    - remember to link the relevant
    Learning Outcome(s) to your
reflection so that it turns green on
    your main SA page!
  2. Subject teacher provides feedback.
  3. You then need to incorporate feedback.
  4. When subject teacher is satisfied
with the quality of the reflection,
they will mark the LOs as
    achieved!

Slide 26 - Tekstslide

3. Supervisor review

Request supervisor review via
ManageBac once you've uploaded your evidence and written your reflection!

Slide 27 - Tekstslide

What happens next?
Your Mentor will read your reflections, check your evidence and read your Supervisor's comment.

If all is in order, and you have clearly demonstrated how you achieved your Learning Outcomes, they will mark your activity/project as complete!
