The form 'used to' is used with all subjects:

I used to live

He/she/it used to live

we used to live

Voor dingen die vroeger zo waren, maar nu niet meer.

Conjunctions

- words that glue two sentences together.

Example: and

I like to play footband AND watch films on the weekend

Conjunctions

- words that glue two sentences together.

They also have meaning:

SO - logisch gevolg  - It was raining so I got very wet

OR - keuze - He will go on vacation or he will go study abroad

AND - opsomming - I like to play football and I want to go out.

BECAUSE - reden - He failed his test because he didn't study at all.

BUT - tegenstelling - It's stormy outside but it is not cold at all!
