Direct sources (1)

• They are made in the time they are about.

• They are usually made by someone who lived during that time and was present during the event.

Direct sources (2)

• Can be very trustworthy, because the maker lived in that time...
  

• ...but they are also untrustworthy, because the person could've given his opinion or doesn't want to give all of the information.

Indirect sources (1)

• Are made by someone who wasn't there, because he might have lived in a later time or lived somewhere else. 

• Got his information from other (written or unwritten) sources

Indirect Sources(2)

• Can be very trustworthy, because its maker could have gotten his information from many different sources.

• ...but also untrustworthy, because soeone wasn't present during the event.
