Getting to feel like my spring holiday love

why this story about a average man?

In my work you listen to my quest. My search for a man that I unfortunately never really got to know. You get to know him through the eyes of a number of people.

 You listen to Mr. Akkerman's story, but it is a lot

more universal than just that. Everyone who lives in the care institution is currently in it's final chapter of his or her film. Looking further back into the past than the

future is long. 

 Anyone can be Mr. Akkerman with his or her own loved ones and favorite places. 

Behind al the dores there is a movie playing. Maybe it is their last chapter. But with a lot of history. 

Behind all those dores there is a mister akkerman

The water

You can listen to various podcasts in the hallway. Next to the diffrent chapters you see pictures of moving water. Water from a lake that keeps coming and coming timelessly. 

Every wave washes ashore. Every wave no matter how big or small has a beginning and an end. But when the wave disappears, the water does not. It is getting together again. To create a new wave. That will wash ashore again.  It's a process that keeps repeating itself.

Just like life.
