What are we going to make?

• An English Promotion video about the Erasmus Exchange Program
  
  
• You + buddy are going to show the ins and outs of this week (the exchange), ambiance, cultural experiences, activities, food, thoughts etc...
  
  
• Convince students at home (at school) to participate in an experience like this!
  
• We will be showing the video's on friday (closing party)

• Introduction > shooting today
• Middle part: a variety of shots throughout the week during activities > planned today
• Outro + Editing > (possible on friday if not already done)

• Criteria for the Promo video: 1st: let's brainstorm and 2nd: have a look at the criteria list

• Lets make a web of positive words about the exchange program, therefore we can utilize these topics in our promo video!
• What do you learn /hope to learn/ have you already learned about being in a (educational) exchange program?
  
  
• Each duo comes up with an answer!

Now we've read all the criteria for a video...

Let's have a look at the example video I did with all the editing skills already in there...

Ofcourse you can do it your own way or take my introduction as a basis.

Note: bad quality (Ipad at home), green screen school...

What type of editing skills did you see? 

TIP: Look at the criteria list!

Today: Promo video, introduction

• First decide what each of you is going to say
  (or take mine as the basis and adapt)
• Script writing if needed. 
  
• Let's shoot! Go outside, choose location
• Speak loudly! ALWAYS use back camera!
• Film horizontal or vertical (be consistent)
• Choose 2/3 camera perspectives to use during introduction!> last page
• Let me know if you have a script ready + perspectives: then you may leave
• Come back when finished earlier than 45 minutes. > planning

Place the videos in a map on your phone, don't loose them!

Open the app Capcut

Press "new project"

Select the shots you just filmed.

Plan: which day are going to film what, in the given planner!

Make sure to have filmed each criteria > before workshop 2 on friday

More time? Start editing

Select each video, place in the right order

How to cut unwanted footage? By dragging your cursor

Press: 'Text' to type your names and add fonts/colours

Press: 'Sounds' to add background music or small sound        effects

Press: 'Sticker' to add fun images on screen

Press: "Key frame sign" to zoom in 

More time? Start editing

Add: background shot for your greenscreen

Press:  underlay> add video of you talking

Press this talking video and press remove BG, auto > lines (no PRO features)

Make yourself smaller or bigger to your liking. 

Press: sound> voice over to start recording

•  Make sure that the language is on English! + New Video

• Press language on English

On your mobile phone: go to the free program We Transfer.com or download the app

Press: "Ik wil alleen bestanden delen"

Email to your buddy's email and upload all the introduction shots

 

• Open on ipad/laptop email
  
• download we transferlink
  
• save all the files in one place
  
•  Open Capcut
• Upload the files where you saved them, that's all

> Feel free to already edit 

> Not much storage? Do this every day, and delete on phone.
