Adverbs and Adjectives
Step 1: What is what?

John is a good player / Josie is a beautiful girl
An adjective says something about something or someone. It refers to a noun.

John plays well / Josie sings beautifully
An adverb talks about an action. It refers to a verb.

Step 2: How to create an adverb
Most adverbs are formed by simply adding -ly to the adjective. Sometimes the spelling gets slighty altered: 
le = ly / y= ily / ic = ically

beautiful - beautifully
careful - carefully
terrible = terribly
easy = easily
fantastic = fantastically

Comparatives and superlatives
The comparative and superlative are created by adding more / most

Lara sings beautifully
