The house on fog hill: part 1
The fog rolled in thick and fast, blanketing the trees like a shroud. Emma tightened her jacket around her as she climbed the winding road up Fog Hill. It was a foolish dare—spend one hour inside the abandoned Whitmore House—but she wasn’t about to back down. Not in front of Liam and Tara.

The house loomed into view, its skeletal frame barely visible through the mist. Windows were boarded up with rotting planks, and ivy snaked around the chimney like a green serpent. The front door, surprisingly intact, creaked open with a reluctant groan.

“See you in sixty minutes,” Liam called from the gate. Emma gave a mock salute and stepped inside.
