Uitleg
= That is Frank‘s car.
= My sister‘s room is a mess.
Het voedsel van de kat is smerig. = The cat‘s food is gross.
De vriendin van Kees is knap. = Kees‘s girlfriend is pretty.

= My parents‘ house is big.
Het haar van zijn vriendin is kort. = His friends‘ hair is short.

My sisters room is a mess.
The cats food is gross.
Kees‘s girlfriend is pretty.

My parents‘ house is big.

Let's get some more practice!
I have nine of these little boards with a marker. There are 22 of you. This means that I want 5 pairs and 4 groups of three.

I will give you quite a few forms. They all have the form  This.... belongs to...
Your job is to change that to a possessive form. You discuss quickly in your group and then write the correct possessive form on your little board.

There's an example on the next slide. For each question you've got 30 minutes. No pressure ;-)
