Synonyms and Antonyms

Synonyms are words or expressions that (almost) mean the same as other words: 

Beautiful, lovely, pretty, etc.

An antonym is a word that means the opposite of other words:

Light -> Dark; Pretty -> Ugly

A: I am scared of spiders.
B: Well, a lot of people are fr_______ of big ones!

A: It's strange that Dave left without saying goodbye.
