first conditional (A+B) - possible things in the future

second conditional (B) - unlikely things in the future

third conditional (B) - Things that didn't happen and their imaginary results

zero conditional - general truths

Things that are (pretty much) always true

they describe what happens in general

Write down the verbs

verb (space) verb

if water reaches 100 degrees it boils

if you add 2 and 2, you get 4

if you stand in the rain, you get wet

if you leave ice in the sun, it melts

First conditional

First conditional - general truths

It's used to talk about things which might happen in the future. Of course, we can't know what will happen in the future, but this describes possible things, which could easily come true.

Write down the verbs

same as before

If I have enough money, I will buy some new shoes.

if you study hard, you will pass your exam

you will feel sick, if you eat a whole cake

If it is sunny tomorrow, we will go to the beach

Put the words in the right order
