The learners should compare the recommended system to the initial organisation requirements, consider if it will enable all staff to undertake their job roles, and if there are any limitations.

Learners should ensure they evaluate the complete solution including future developments.

Evidence relating to alternative solutions that could be used was weak in the work of many

learners with some learners considering an alternative to legislation was to ignore any

legislation that was in place.

It is important to consider alternatives in detail for a range of aspects of the solution, rather than

attempting to cover as many alternatives as possible in superficial detail.

What is being looked for?

The examiner is looking for a detailed overview of the:

Hardware, Software and Legislation.

You need to justify your choices in relation to what the company wants to be able to do. Justify how your choices allow staff to complete their job and consider alternatives. Consider why/why they are not the best choice. 

Layout 

Looking at examiners reports a lot of students decide to complete this section in a table. One for hardware, software and legislation separately (can also be all together).

How Many To Cover 

Looking at the examiners report it is clear not ALL hardware, software and legislation need to be discussed here. 

However, the more that you cover the better the chance you have for getting higher marks. 

If you are running out of time you may want to consider which hardware, software and legislation is most IMPORTANT to the scenario.
