OBJECTIVE
Students will be able to identify weather vocabulary and produce simple descriptive sentences using the verb "to be" (e.g., It is sunny) by engaging with CALL tools, specifically through a teacher-created song and an interactive e-learning assessment on Kahoot.
INTRODUCTION
Weather is different each day with it being sunny, rainy, windy, cloudy, hot or cold. When you know what's happening with the weather, it helps you decide what to wear and how to plan your day. Using music as a teaching tool to learn words related to different types of weather (i.e., sun, rain, snow, wind) is fun and very effective. Using music will help students remember vocabulary words, improve their pronunciation, and have a great time learning!
