LET’S SAVE OUR ENVIRONMENT

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Students are able to identify the structure and language feature (imperative verbs) of a procedure text on an environmental topic.

  • Students are able to interpret explicit and implicit information in a procedure text through reading and viewing activities.

Steps:

1. Firstly, prepare the clean and dry plastic bags

   1. Secondly, cut the plastic bags into flat sheets or shapes based on your design.

   2. Next, stack 3–4 layers of plastic and place them between two pieces of baking paper.

   3. Then, iron the plastic on medium heat for 10–15 seconds using the baking paper as a barrier.

   4. After that, let the plastic cool down and remove the baking paper carefully.

   5. Next, shape the plastic into a bag and iron the folded sides to seal them.

   6. Then, make handles using extra plastic and iron them onto the top of the bag (optional).

   7. Finally, let everything cool until the bag is ready to use.
