Overview

"a lot" can be used for both countable and uncountable nouns!

However, never use "a lot" in questions/negatives.

Question: to be (am/is/are) + onderwerp + going to + verb ?

"Are you going to watch tv tonight?"

"Look at the sky. Is it going to rain?"

Will

will + verb

1. Plannen die je op het moment van spreken maakt:

"I am hungry. I will have a snack."

2. Wens, belofte, aanbod, verzoek, voorspelling:

"I promise we will be on time."

Will

Negative: "We will not loose tonight's game."  (voorspelling)

Question: "Will we loose tonight's game?" 

Will not = won't: I will not = I won't

Shall kan gebruikt worden voor I & we: "Shall we go?"
