# I can talk about things that are going to happen in the future.
The future tense is used to indicate something that is going to happen in the (near) future.

That something can be scheduled, planned, promised or intentions. You'll see you need different tenses for different plans.

Let's go over these four different tenses.

the present simple.

Will (and shall) are used to make predictions, offers, promises and sudden decisions.
(shall is commonly more used in questions with I and we)

I will visit you every day.
Shall I visit you next Friday?
I will make you an offer you can't refuse.
He won't prepare himself for the test.

Slide 6 - Tekstslide

When someone plans something for the future, you use the present continuous future tense.

We are meeting eachother at the trainstation.
