Brainstorm (with your entire group) a story opening, 2-3 sentences, using your object
3-5 minutes

keep it appropriate and respectful
create suspense or curiosity
make the reader want to know more
Assignment
Write a short story (100-150 words)
choose one writing prompt
write in pairs/groups (max. 3) or work alone
write a short but engaging story that hooks the reader. Include:
- at least 2 connectors (suddenly, therefore)
- at least 1 synonym replacement (instead of scary -> terrifying).
You are allowed to come to me to use thesaurus for synonyms
