Learning Goal:

- Students should grasp that the present continuous tense is used to talk about actions in progress now.

- Students should understand that it's formed using the present tense of "to be" (am, is, are) + the present participle (verb + -ing).

GRAMMAR 

Present continuous

Present = tegenwoordige tijd

Continuous = nu aan de gang

Form:

TO BE + Werkwoord + ING

TO BE = am - is - are 

I am playing a game right now.

SHIT(she he it) is playing a game.

om aan te geven dat iets aan de gang is. In de zin staan vaak woorden als: now, right, now, at the moment.

                        Let op!!!_____________

Eindigt het werkwoord op een e (make, write, dance) dan haal je de -e weg en plak je er -ing achter.
